Leveraging North America's first all-IP, next generation mobile communications network, TerreStar is creating new categories of products, services and control systems for a diversified range of customers including homeland defense agencies, public safety agencies, rural communities, wireless carriers, and multiple enterprise verticals.

TerreStar's planned open applications architecture will provide a framework for partners and customers to efficiently develop and integrate their own communications applications into its network to build committed and durable relationships with their own customers, to support service stickiness, and generate the industry's highest ARPU.

The combination of next generation services at mobile broadband speeds provides users with the flexibility and accessibility of desktop applications (such as real-time mass distribution of data and video), and access to the Internet and proprietary/secure IP networks, in a mobile environment via a variety of portable devices, such as mobile phones, laptops and PDAs. TerreStar's customers will have control over their service to securely add, tailor, and manage applications and users in real-time through a dashboard over standard browser interfaces.

TerreStar is developing advanced IP OSS and BSS architectures that will have wide ranging applicability to the telecommunications industry and large enterprise communities. Running across a true, all-IP network, TerreStar will provide back office applications and services such as order entry, provisioning, billing and customer care in a faster and in a more cost effective manner.
